I decided that since I was so close to paying off my Perkins loan, I would go ahead and deplete pretty much all my savings. So my balance on my Perkins is now $0 and I feel even more motivated to pay off my other two! Total owed as of today: $20,478.54!
Going forward my monthly student payments will be:
Direct Loans (1.8% interest): 76.73 (automatically debited)
Citi Student Loans (6.8%): 500 + any extra (in grace period until around Jan.)
My goal now is to pay as much of the Citi loans as I can before my grace period ends since it is such a high interest rate.
