Future Fund Update

So I decided to take into account both of my already existing savings accounts which means it should not take me quite as long to save $2,000.

Amount of "Future Fund" saved as of Oct. 30th is $722!

New money goals

So, I am making an adjustment for how much I am going to pay my citi loans each month. Instead of $800 I am only going to do $500. This way I can take that extra $300 and put it towards savings. The reason for this is so I can save $2,000 for my "future fund" by mid January.

Here is the breakdown of how I plan to do it:

mid Oct. Starting Balance: $100

Oct. 31st: 25+100=125

Nov. 4th paycheck: 300+125=425
Nov. 30th: 25+ 425=450

Dec. 2nd paycheck: 300+450=750

Dec. 30th (extra) paycheck: 800+750=1550
Dec. 31st: 25+1550=1575

Jan. 13th paycheck: 300+1575=1875

*Need to save an extra $125 in addition to everything above.

1875+125=$2000

Student Loan Update

Current student loans owed as of today is $18,819.52. However, I think I am going to have to rethink my budget because I think I am being too strict with my finances. I will post a new budget here pretty soon.
